Yeah, Cumbria's flooding. This journal will probably sound completely emotionless but I really don't know how to react.

We got let out of school 45 minutes early (which is kind of odd considering how many people had to go home before lunch because their villages were being flooded).

According to the news it's worse than the 2005 flooding, and I can believe that >.>

I live on a hill and I'm not close enough to any rivers for my house to get flooded, so I have no problem.

...But my god the water level in the rivers we drove past were high D:

As in 'HOLY S**T THAT'S A TREE?' Only saw one flooded house though, as we drove past Eamont Bridge.

But how normal everyone at school was acting what with the heavy rain, strong winds and people being told they had to go home because of floods was a bit mind boggling.
Most of them were happy. >.> Then again, I suppose they're getting out of school early and there isn't anything saying their house has been flooded. Oh wait happy moment.

YAY FOR GETTING OUT OF SCHOOL EARLY

...It's still raining and the wind hasn't let up at all.

Good ol' Cumbria.

PS. good luck to all you people who HAVE had your houses flooded or are in danger of flooding. : (
